Kiora was founded in 2018 by three engineers who were tired of imported appliances that cracked under the weight of real Indian cooking. We wanted motors that could grind dosa batter at 5 AM and idli batter at 5 PM, day after day, year after year.

So we built our own. From the copper windings to the stainless steel jars, every Kiora product is designed and tested in Pune — by people who use them at home.

Today, more than 1.2 million Indian families cook with Kiora. We make mixers, chimneys, hobs, microwaves and small appliances — but really, we make the quiet workhorses of the modern Indian kitchen.
